William's College Men's Basketball Enjoys a Remarkable Trip to Spain
Williams college Men’s Basketball team has returned from their trip to Spain! During their trip overseas they went sightseeing in the city of Barcelona, experienced the breath taking Botanical Gardens in Lloret de Mar, explored some of the famous sets from the HBO series, Game of Thornes in the Spanish city Girona, and explored the famous mountain of Monsterrat.
While in Spain the Ephs took on 3 Spanish opponents. In their first game they faced Bisbal Basquet and won 73-56, their second opponent was Mataro Parc Boet this game was very close but Williams College pulled out a win beating Mataro 75-72, their last game in Spain was against Club Basquet Cornella, this game went down to the buzzer ending in a 69-68 loss for the Ephs. They left Spain with a winning record!
Kevin App, the head coach of Williams College Men’s Basketball team said; "Our team had three major focuses on our trip to Spain - chemistry, culture, and competition. We enjoyed and felt immersed in the Spanish culture, created memories for a lifetime, and had 3 incredibly competitive games.
